LARGO, Fla. August 20, 2026 – We’ve officially moved!

After nearly four decades of growth, ONICON has opened the doors to its new headquarters and manufacturing facility in Largo, Florida. Located less than a mile from our previous location, our new home represents a significant investment in ONICON’s people, customers, capabilities, and future.

With more than double the production capacity of our previous facility, the new headquarters provides the space and resources needed to support continued growth and the next generation of ONICON innovation.

This new facility is an investment in our people, our customers, and our future,” said Bill Valentine, Division VP, HVAC. “As demand for accurate, reliable flow measurement solutions continues to grow, we’re creating an environment that allows us to innovate faster, manufacture more efficiently, and continue delivering the high level of quality and service our customers expect.”

Designed to Innovate. Built to Serve.

Our new headquarters was designed to strengthen every stage of ONICON’s product lifecycle; from engineering and testing, to manufacturing, training, and customer support.

Highlights of the facility include:

  • Additional hydronic flow loops for enhanced product development, testing, and calibration.
  • A dedicated Central Energy Plant/Mechanical Room equipped with ONICON instrumentation to control, monitor, and optimize the building’s flow and energy consumption.
  • Demo rooms and training spaces that provide opportunities for real-world HVAC system demonstrations and hands-on product education.
  • Expanded engineering laboratories to accelerate new product development.
  • More than double our previous production capacity to support continued growth.
  • Modern collaboration areas that foster cross-functional teamwork.
  • Lean manufacturing layout designed to improve efficiency and product flow
  • Additional breakroom space for employees with subsidized grab and go market offering an array of health-conscious options

“Every aspect of this facility was designed with purpose,” said Andrew Strand, Sr. Mechanical Engineer and Construction Project Manager “our goal was to create an environment that supports innovation, efficiency, and collaboration while giving our employees the tools they need to better serve our customers. It’s incredibly rewarding to see that vision become a reality.”

More Than a Move

Opening the doors to our new headquarters was the culmination of months of planning, coordination, and hard work behind the scenes. Moving nearly four decades of operations, including manufacturing equipment, engineering labs, calibration and testing ,capabilities, inventory, offices, and employees, while continuing to serve our customers was no small undertaking.

It required tremendous coordination across teams to ensure the transition happened as smoothly as possible with minimal disruption to our day-to-day operations.

“Planning was a big part of this move, but a plan means nothing without a great team to execute it, and that’s exactly what we had.” said Brandon Joseph, Lead Manufacturing Engineer and Co-Project manager for the move alongside Andrew Strand.

We extend a special thank you to everyone who dedicated their time and effort to making the physical move a success. The building may be new, but it was our people who made it feel like home.

“I couldn’t be prouder of our operations team and how they came together throughout this move. Everyone took ownership throughout the process. Their hard work, flexibility, and teamwork made a complex transition feel seamless while allowing us to continue supporting our customers” said Heath Smith, Operations Manager.

Built Around the ONICON Difference

ONICON has built its reputation on engineering expertise, measurement accuracy, responsive customer support, and trusted partnerships.

Our address may have changed, but those values haven’t.

The new headquarters wasn’t built simply to give us more space. It was designed to strengthen every aspect of the ONICON Difference and position us to continue delivering the innovative flow and energy measurement solutions, quality, and customer experience our customers and partners have come to expect.

And now, we’re officially home.
