Fan IV Fan Array Transmitter

Fan Array Transmitter

The FAN IV is a multi-channel pressure and airflow measurement transmitter designed for accurate monitoring of HVAC fan systems. Capable of measuring up to four independent fans—or groups of fans—the FAN IV delivers individual fan readings as well as total system airflow from a single device.

Designed specifically for fan measurement applications, the FAN IV offers a flexible configuration that can be paired with differential pressure piezo rings or traverse-style fan inlet probes. Each channel uses an independent transducer, ensuring precise pressure and airflow measurement for each fan. When multiple fans are operated from the same VFD, up to five fans per channel can be grouped together, allowing a single FAN IV to monitor up to 20 fans.

Every FAN IV is individually calibrated and shipped with all settings and outputs preconfigured for the application, simplifying installation and commissioning. The transmitter supports native BACnet® or MODBUS® communications and provides up to four programmable analog outputs selectable for individual fan differential pressure or airflow, temperature, or total system airflow.

When used with piezo rings, the FAN IV requires no obstructions in the fan inlet and complies with ASHRAE 90.1 and 189.1 requirements, making it ideal for energy-conscious and code-compliant HVAC designs.
