System-2 BTU Meter The System-2 BTU Meter is a highly accurate instrument specifically designed for small tenant billing applications. It is provided with pre-wired temperature sensors and a single contact closure output for accumulating energy total. The System-2 is designed to be used with plenum rate cabling.

ONICON is committed to providing highly accurate and reliable systems which guarantee successful installations. NIST Traceable Calibration with Certification Complete system-wide calibration for the entire BTU measurement system for each specific application with certification of calibration. Precision Solid State Temperature Sensors Custom calibrated and matched to an accuracy better than ±0.15°F from 32-200°F. Highly Accurate Flow Meters Insertion turbine and inline turbine flow meters which are accurate to within ±0.5% at calibrated typical flow rate and will not exceed ±2% of actual reading over an extended 50:1 turndown range (0.4 - 20 ft/s). Each ONICON flow meter is calibrated against a primary volumetric standard directly traceable to NIST with calibration certification provided. Computational Error Within 0.05% Thermal energy is calculated with very high resolution (typically over 10 times per second depending on flow rate). The BTU meter utilizes the digital frequency output of the flow sensor with no corresponding loss of accuracy to analog flow signal conversion. Complete Installation Package All mechanical installation hardware, color coded interconnecting cabling, and installation instructions are provided to insure error-free installation accurate system performance.
